Followng the terrible loss of dobro player Dan Conner, and with Spud and Bill now in Portland, The Floating Glass Balls continues to play on at Bill's Tavern, every Thursday evening, with new members and old. Joel and Gary can still be found around the table in the back corner, along with other local musicians filling the spaces left by Dan, Spud, & Bill.

Joel can also be found, most often in the Portland area, with Spud and Bill in their latest group, The Columbians, playing much of the Balls' material, and then some. Look for them every 1st Saturday night, 7-10pm, at McMenamin's Edgefield Winery Tasting Room, and for special events on the grounds.
